Bloom Where God Plants You

In 2017, I was preparing myself to join the industry as a Public Relations intern. Overwhelmed and confused with the numerous options, I remember clearly praying to Yahweh that he use and place me where He wills. A place where I will grow and develop in more than just educational skills and experience. I had a desire to experience the hearts, life and pain of people and indeed my life has been a flood of emotions and inspiration each day.

I applied to The Children’s Trust at Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town and I excited that my application was successful. What a divine connection indeed. Today I am so grateful for the opportunity to work at The Children’s Hospital Trust. Each day God shows me the beauty of a childlike soul and their determination to overcome their life-threatening illnesses.

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3

“The Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital is a place that holds stories of courage, stories of survival, stories of loss and stories of unexpected triumph. It is home to doctors, nurses and specialists who have dedicated their lives to helping their young patients. But most importantly, it’s home to the most remarkable Children you will ever meet, Children who fearlessly fight a battle most adults could not.” Children who need your help! Donate Here “
